20th Anniversary “Tee Off: Keep Kids on Course” golf event

Join us for the Best Ball Scramble event ever at the California Country Club located in beautiful Whittier.  Sponsorship levels start at $1,200 for the bronze sponsor and it includes 2 players, tee signage, 1/4 page ad and sponsor recognition.  See the attached flyer for more details and other sponsorship opportunities.  Individual players are welcome as well.

The date is May 4, 2017 and starts with registration at 10am.  Lunch is 11:30am to 12:15pm and shotgun is at 12:30pm.  There is dinner and awards immediately following.

19th Annual “Keep Kids on Course” Golf Tournament

The Carson Coordinating Council cordially invites you to join us for our 19th annual Golf Benefit.  This golf tournament befits the Carson Child Guidance Program and is a wonderful way to spend a day.

The tournament is held at the beautiful California Country Club in Whittier.  The fee per player is $225 and includes green fee, cart, practice range, lunch, refreshments all day, good bag and dinner.

Carson Coordinating Council Chairmen Honored

On November 30th 2014 Dr. Gilbert “Gil” Smith was honored by the Carson Mayor, City Council and community members as A Founder, A Mayor and A Visionary of the city of Carson, CA.  It was a wonderful event full of many friends of Gil Smith.  Gil has done so much positive work for the city and was one of the founders of the city when it was created.

16th Annual Golf Event is a Success!

The 16th annual Golf Event held on the California Country Club golf course was a tremendous success. Congratulations to our winner BNSF Railway and runner-up Brea Cannon Oil.

We congratulate all of the golfers that participated in what was a competitive tournament.  Thank you also to all of the volunteers that made this event happen and the golf committee led by the amazing Rey Javier.   This year’s tournament was dedicated to the Carson Coordinating Council’s founder Carole Keen.

All proceeds will go to benefit the Carson Child Guidance Center.  Next year’s date is May 8th 2014 .  If you want to be part of this fantastic golf tournament sign up now!

Carole Keen recognized as a Person of Distinction

This past Wednesday night, the Daily Breeze honored six South Bay community members at its annual People of Distinction ceremony and our Carole Keen was one of them.

In the Health and Wellness category, Carole Keen was recognized for developing support system for youth in Carson.

She joined Barbara Haney who won in the Business/Innovation category, Mari Morales who won in the Education category, John Hernandez who won in the Unsung Hero category, Janet Johnson who won in the Volunteer category, and Anna Spallino who won in the Youth category.

Thank you Carole for all of your fabulous work you do in the community of Carson  We celebrate you!

Founder of Carson Coordinating Council nominated Person of Distinction Finalist

The Carson Coordinating Council is honored to announced that its founder, Carole Keen, has been nominated one of the Daily Breeze’s “People of Distinction” finalists.  Carole has done so many wonderful things in her life to support her local community and it wonderful that she is being recognized for all of her hard work.

On November 14th at 6pm at the Torrance Marriott there will be an event honoring the finalists and announcing the “winner” in the six categories.  Help us support Carole by attending the event and/or letting us know how you have been helped and influenced by Carole.

The Carson Coordinating Council is thrilled to make this announcement and congratulate Carole on all of her good works in the community!
